Tapas Menu

Tapas are "little foods". In Spain, at almost any hour of the day or night, people meet for conversation, entertainment or even business, as they sip wine and sample tapas in their favorite establishment. Tapas is known as the regional cuisine of Spain, but the Tapas tradition has more to do with an approach to living. Tapas should be fun, spontaneous, and part of a larger celebration of life with good friends. Relax and enjoy!

Cold Tapas

Plato mixto de la casa - artizan cheeses from Spain and Portugal, dried chorizo sausage, jamon Serrano (ham cured in the Spanish style) and a selection of Iberian olives    $14

Chef's Tapenades: Greek feta folded with fresh oregano and piquant pepper, white bean/garlic/parsley spread, sun dried tomato/herb hummus and Moroccan black olive tapenade. Served with fresh endive and pita triangles     $12

Chef's duo of salmon gravlax: tarragon/chive and beet/citrus - with pickled golden been and marinated red onion   $11

Mediterranean Bruscetta - sun dried tomato, Greek feta cheese, Moroccan sun dried black olives, roast garlic and fresh rosemary baked on European baguette and finished with fine olive oil   $8

Hot Tapas

Empanadas - small envelopes of pastry filled with chicken, saffron, tomato, pimento, almond and fresh herbs    $9

Panko crusted brie with grilled plum and a Montmorency cherry streak   $9

Chourico Bombiero - Portuguese sausage flambeed with Aguardente (Portuguese grappa) served with quince/apricot/caramelized onion preserve    $12

Spicy chorizo sausage sauteed with fresh mango, Spanish Brandy and fresh basil    $9

Lamb Kefta - savoury meatballs of Ontario lamb in a pan sauce finished with baby arugula and kefir milk   $8

Catalan shrimp - jumbo shrimp with fresh basil, orange zest, shallots, garlic, caper, white wine and olive oil    $14
